Glioma

Glioma is a common form of malignant brain tumor. A 2005 report published by Datamonitor estimates that there were approximately 34,000 new cases of glioma in the United States, Japan, and Western Europe in 2005. LSO has completed a Phase II dosage escalation trial in Europe, designed to investigate the safety of Litx in the treatment of glioma and the ability of Litx to kill glioma tumor cells. LSO currently plans to initiate a Phase III trial of Litx in glioma in 2008.
