Lisa Koch-Hulle joined the Company in 2009 as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs. Prior to joining the Company, from 2002 to 2009 Ms. Koch-Hulle held positions at La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, where she most recently was Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Operations. From 1991 to 2002, Ms. Koch-Hulle held various positions with Alliance Pharmaceutical Corporation. At Alliance, Ms. Koch-Hulle was responsible for supporting and developing regulatory submissions, strategy, and communications with domestic and international regulatory authorities. During her 11-year tenure at Alliance, which saw the approval and commercialization of two imaging compounds Imagent® GI (perflubron) and Imagent® US (perflexane lipid microspheres), Ms. Koch-Hulle held positions of increasing responsibility, all within the Regulatory Affairs Department. Ms. Koch-Hulle received her Regulatory Affairs Certification for the United States in 1998, her Certification for European Regulatory Affairs in 2005, and achieved membership in the European Organization for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs in 2004. In 2007 she served as the Chairperson of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society European Regulatory Affairs Certification Self Assessment Committee. Ms. Koch-Hulle holds a Bachelors degree in English from San Diego State University.
