Dr. Wang has been in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry for over 15 years. She has been instrumental in forming physician networks, managing clinical research and development, evaluating the efficacy and safety of new drugs, device, and therapeutic interventions from Phase I to IV. Her extensive knowledge and experiences in global medical product development, regulatory requirements and clinical operations have been directed toward creating better solutions for the unmet medical needs and achieving commercial success for the companies. Dr. Wang is currently VP Clinical Development at Light Sciences Oncology and was with Light Sciences Corporation for 6 years. Previously, she was the senior manager of Clinical Operations at Cell Therapeutics Inc. in Seattle, WA, and the project manager at Angiotech Pharmaceutical Inc. in Vancouver, BC. Dr. Wang was a staff scientist at Geron Corporation in Menlo Park, CA, and at Biomembrane Institute in Seattle, WA. Dr. Wang received her BS in Biochemistry from National Taiwan University and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from New Jersey Medical School. She received her postdoctoral training at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA, and has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles.
